Sarah: Assistant Practice Manager / Dental Assistant

Sarah has been with Century Dental for 5 years. Her 18 years’ experience in almost every aspect of dentistry is of great value to patients, as she is able to assist different patients with specific outcomes – from helping a new mum to decide when to bring in her young child to advising patients on steps involved in a range of complicated treatments.

Sarah’s role involves working at the front desk, at the dentist’s chair and in the sterilisation room. She loves working at Century Dental as she feels the practice is like a big family where everyone looks after each other. What she enjoys most is the opportunity to perform different roles each day and work with everyone in the practice. Sarah says she walks in the door every day with a big smile on her face, knowing that she can make a difference and also have a laugh with friends.

Mariam Halima – Hygienist

I began my dental career as a nurse in 2007. Since graduating with Bachelor of Oral Health from Newcastle University, NSW in 2014, I have worked in a variety of settings including school dental, aged care, and private practice.

I have a passion in helping patients achieve their goals in oral health and get great satisfaction seeing the outcome of my work. Patient comfort during my treatment is very important. I enjoy treating all ages and implementing different techniques to make children enjoy their dental visits.

I am happily married with a 2 year old girl and enjoy swimming, reading, hiking and exploring Victoria on the weekends with my family.

Leanne: Dental Assistant, Sterilization room and Front desk

Leanne has been in the dental industry for 40 years. Over that time she has experienced a variety of procedures in the dental field.

At Century Dental Leanne shares her roles between assisting Dr Solomon and Dr Jong and in the sterilization room. Leanne also helps out on the front desk when needed.

Leanne has a love for the beach and cooking up a storm for her friends and family.
